Can someone give me tips please as to what is the best smart lighting system?

There is no such thing as 'best' it all depends on your needs.
Some people just want to be able to remotely switch their lights on and off via their smart phone, so a fairly simple system is the best.
On the other hand, other people want dimming, switching, colour changing, connection with Alexa and Google home, dawn and dusk simulation etc - so they need a seriously sophisticated system.
