Someone told me that LED lights are better for the eyes than other types of lights, is that right?

High quality LED lights produce almost no UV light, so yes this is much better for the eyes.

LED lights do produce UV rays but in very small quantities, so they are fine.

LED lights produce must less UV rays than fluorescent and incandescent lights, and it is the UV which is most harmful to your eyes,
