Yes, you can definitely use them, and because LED lights are generally directional, you do not need reflectors either.

The fact that LED lights have much lower wattage makes them safer as well.

Yes but I would recommend not to use normal LED lights, but LED grow lights with full spectrum.

You need full spectrum LED lights because plants need red and blue wavelengths.

Houseplants are fine with normal LED lights, but if are looking at a greenhouse then you will definitely want grow lights.

As a commercial plant grower, I would very much recommend globes that emit red and blue.

Blue light in particular is used for chlorophyll production so make sure your LED lights are full spectrum.

You can get grow lights, which are strange LED purplish lights, from many online stores and trade stores.
