What types of indoor lights are best for the eyes?

LED is actually quite bad for the eyes because it has very unnatural spectrum.

I like halogen lights. They provide very good reflected light.

Look for high CRI lights, by definition they are good for the eyes because they are more natural.

Strangely enough, old fashioned incandescent lights I think are the best.

In general diffuse light is better than spotlights.

Agree, make sure that whatever light you use, the illumination is diffuse rather than hitting your eyes direct.

If you use a TV, laptop or iPad, then use some backlights to make it easier on the eyes.
