Does anyone know what is the affect of good or bad lighting on the productivity of workers?

An important factor is colour temperature. This should be cool white to keep workers alert and focused. Warm white, after prolonged use, can make workers lethargic.

Studies have found that working under blue-enriched light globes can increase productivity substantially.

Also, make sure that lighting is neither too dim, nor too bright - and also that there is a lot of ambient lighting without harsh shadows.
