I am about to outfit a retail business with commercial grade LED lights - what should be my budget?

Obviously it depends on the size of your premises and the use of the lights, but you get what you pay for. Don't go for cheap lights because they will fail and you will be called back to replace them in a few months time.

If you are looking for commercial grade shop lights over 1000 lumens, then you would be paying at least $50 and for really high grade ones, three times that.
