Someone told me that he is a "landscape lighting expert" not a "garden lighting expert". Is there a difference?

I think landscape lighting is more refined and architectural and is usually for new homes.

Personally I think the terms are completely interchangeable.

Garden lighting is a subset of landscape lighting.
Garden lighting is by definition about the garden.
However landscape lighting is much more. It may include driveways, paths, parks, public facilities, stadiums, etc.
