Would recommend to use downlights with warm white (3000K)

Make sure you have a light over the hand basin - very frustrating for people not have one there

If the toilet has a mirror in it, then a vanity light or lights around the mirror is great. Make sure the globes are not clear.

Nothing beats natural light... so consider having a skylight.Â

You can actually get micro-downlights now, which means you can put a few (eg one in each corner) with low wattage.

Since the toilet will be used in the middle of the night, make sure not to blind the person, so the light should not be too bright.
