Can anyone suggest materials and ideas for using recycled materials in creating DIY home lights?

I have used the following materials:

- Wood

- Copper

- Glass

- Leather (yes!)

- Cardboard

- Globes and a cord

- Concrete

You can make some pretty cool lights from material found at home.
